Avon Montessori Academy enrollment is open to children from 18 months to three years for our Toddler program, 2 1/2 to five years of age for our Children’s House program, and six to 12 years of age for our Elementary classroom. For our Children’s House program, children must be fully potty trained. A child’s Kindergarten year within Children’s House is generally for those who are five years of age by August 1st, but we follow the child so exceptions may occur.
Tour and Classroom Observation
Our doors are always open! A classroom observation by a parent or guardian is the first step in the application process. This initial visit will include a tour of the school and the opportunity for the parent/guardian to experience our enriching Montessori classroom.
Apply Today!
Parents can apply for admission by completing our AMA Application and paying a $100 application fee. A meeting between the teacher, child, and parent/guardian will be scheduled when the application has been received.

A student-teacher student visit provides the child with a chance to get to know the teacher and other Avon Montessori Academy staff. Just as important, this is a time that assists the teacher in getting to know a child – their readiness for school, their unique development, and their family’s educational philosophy. This visit takes place in a friendly classroom setting and is integrated into our daily routine.

Enrollment
Initial enrollment is contingent upon receipt of a completed Enrollment Agreement, signed FACTS fee agreement, registration deposit, and a signed receipt of the AMA Parent Handbook. A registration deposit of $300 and any applicable fees are due upon acceptance of a child into Avon Montessori Academy. This deposit will serve as an initial tuition payment and will hold your child’s place for the upcoming school year.
